Food, games, art, music, movies — Star Spangled South Orange has something for everyone!
It’s time for our biggest and best new tradition on Flood’s Hill! The Meadowland Park Conservancy, along with South Orange Village, is once again bringing a star spangled extravaganza to town for every family to enjoy.
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to cheer on the contestants in the return of the Town Hall Deli Sloppy Joe Eating Contest…enjoy dance performances from Studio 509 and Concepts Dance Academy, listen to the beautiful sounds of the South Orange Symphony Orchestra performing Americana favorites…and watch the classic film “A League of Their Own” on the big screen.
Plus food and ice cream trucks, games and sports from USA Sport Group, art projects from PopBlossom Studio, a new 4 City Brewing Company beer garden for those 21 and over and an SEFD fire truck and SORS ambulance to explore. It’s all free and it’s all for you!
LIMITED SLOPPY JOE CONTESTANT SPOTS STILL OPEN! If you think you have what it takes to win the Golden Joe, click here to apply
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to make it all happen! If you’d like to lend a hand, click here to choose a shift.
